Application:
Industrial catalysis: biodiesel production
Core function: catalyze the transesterification reaction of vegetable oil/animal fat and methanol to efficiently produce fatty acid methyl esters (biodiesel).
Advantages: lower saponification risk than sodium hydroxide (reduce by-products), improve product purity.
