Analysis of polyacrylamide production technology

未标题-3

Polyacrylamide production process includes batching, polymerization, granulation, drying, cooling, crushing and packaging. The raw material enters the dosing kettle through the pipeline, adding the corresponding additives to mix evenly, cooling to 0-5℃, the raw material is sent to the polymerization kettle through nitrogen deoxygenation, oxygen content is reduced to about 1%, add the initiator for polymerization, after polymerization, the rubber block is chopped, sent to the pelletizer for granulation, granulated pellets sent to the drying bed for drying. The dried material is sent to the crushing and screening system for crushing. After crushing, the material enters the packaging system for packaging and forms the finished product.

Polyacrylamide production process has two steps

Monomer production technique

The production of acrylamide monomer is based on acrylonitrile as raw material, under the action of the catalyst hydration to produce the crude product of acrylamide monomer, after flash distillation, refined acrylamide monomer, this monomer is the raw material for the production of poly444 acrylamide.

Acrylonitrile + (water catalyst/water) → combined → crude acrylamide → flash → refined → refined acrylamide.

polymerization technology

Polyacrylamide aqueous solution is used as raw material for production. Under the action of initiator, polymerization reaction is carried out. After the reaction is completed, the polyacrylamide gum block generated is cut, granulated, dried and crushed, and finally the polyacrylamide product is prepared. The key process is polymerization. In the subsequent treatment process, attention should be paid to mechanical cooling, thermal degradation and crosslinking, so as to ensure the relative molecular weight and water solubility of polyacrylamide.

Acrylamide + water (initiator/polymerization) → polyacrylamide gum block → granulation → drying → crushing → polyacrylamide product
